The Donoho School is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Unini Odama-Nwogu to its Board of Directors. Dr. Odama is a Nephrology and Hypertension Specialist at Landmark Nephrology and Hypertension Clinic, P.C. and medical director of the Davita and FMC Dialysis Clinics. She received her medical education from the University of Jos, Nigeria, and subsequently her specialization training from Michael Reese/UIC, Chicago; RUSH Presbyterian, Chicago; Medical College of Virginia and Harvard Medical School, Boston.
Dr. Odama is board certified in Internal Medicine, Hypertension and Nephrology. She is also certified as a Global Clinical Research Scholar and is an American Board of Internal Medicine Diplomat. She is a member of the American Society of Nephrology, American Society of Hypertension, Renal Physicians Association, National Kidney Foundation and the International Society of Nephrology. She serves on the boards of the American Red Cross Calhoun and Cleburne Chapter and St. Michael’s Church, and is a member of the Davita Clinical Research Consortium. Dr. Odama has been published in several medical journals, has lectured and presented in her field of expertise, and received numerous honors and awards.
Dr. Odama-Nwogu and her husband Dr. John Nwogu reside in Oxford and have three children: Amarachi, a sixth grader at The Donoho School, and Akachi and Zikoora, third graders at The Donoho School.
