The Donoho School Varsity Scholars Bowl team captured the school’s second-ever state championship and second in 5 years at the AISA State Championships in Montgomery.
The Falcons defeated Springwood School (300-200), Bayside Academy (320-200), Wilcox Academy (390-180), Patrician Academy (360-90), Houston Academy (350-210), and Tuscaloosa Academy (200-180) on their way to the title. The Falcons trailed the final match, never getting a lead until the next to last question.
The Team was made up of Captain Zach Cater, Walker Bodiford, Jay Tollison, Cainan Stacks, David Robles, and Christopher Perkins. Zach Cater was named a member of the All-State Team. Way to go, Falcons!
