Congratulations to Maren Russell, Isabella Nelson, Hamza Abdul-Ghani, Kathryn Salem and Abby Ulrey for being chosen to have their artwork featured in the 2011 Legacy, Partners in Environmental Education, calendar and annual report. Third grader Maren Russell, whose artwork was submitted by Mrs. Michelle Swinford, was selected for the cover of the Legacy 2011 Environmental Calendar/Annual Report. The students’ artwork was among thirteen selected from 1,574 entries across the state of Alabama. Legacy, Partners in Environmental Education, is an organization dedicated to providing quality, fact-based environmental education materials to the citizens of Alabama.
