Congratulations to the Lady Falcons and Coach Janice Slay for being runner-ups in the AHSAA Class 1A State Championship finals. The Lady Falcons fell to Addison HS in the championship match.
On behalf of the varsity volleyball team, Coach Slay would like to thank the faculty, staff, and students for their support of the team this season and especially for the last two days in Birmingham. It was obvious that we had the best support group there! We are very grateful to have had such wonderful support behind us, whether you were able to attend the tournament or not. We felt the good wishes and the encouragement from you all, whether you were standing in the Crossplex leading cheers or watching the live Twitter feed. The whole school shares in our success this season and we are proud to be Donoho Falcons! The varsity volleyball team wishes the football team good luck in their first play-off round game against Berry HS next week. Go Falcons!
