Congratulations to Samantha Strunk for being selected as the President of the State of Alabama Junior Division of the Alabama Federation of Music Clubs (AFMC) at the state convention held in Fayette, Alabama last weekend! She also received the Madel Pearson award, the highest award presented at the convention to the AFJMC Most Outstanding Junior in the State of Alabama (ages 13-18).
Samantha won first place in the State of Alabama for her “National Music Week Poster,” was an Honor’s Recital Performer, and was one of the officers leading the convention. She also served as the 2014-2015 Newsgatherer for the State of Alabama and several of her articles were published in the national magazine, “Keynotes.”
