Spring Book Fair LUAU – UPDATED INFORMATION!

The Donoho Book Fair is around the corner and this year we are having a LUAU!

We hope to see you there: Monday, April 9th – Friday, April 13th.

We have planned a fun-filled time at the LUAU!!

Here is how it works: During the week of the Book Fair, the Lower School students can visit the Book Fair during their PE classes and make their purchases. (P.E. schedules have been included at the conclusion of this letter). Middle School students will have the opportunity to visit during community on Wednesday.

Monday will be a Preview Session during which each student will have the opportunity to make a Wish List of books of interest. The Wish List will contain the name of the book and the price. In case you are unable to attend, this will aid you in helping your child make their selections. You and your family are invited to come during any of our Open hours, 7:30-3:30 each day. We have books for all ages, including adults! We think you will be pleasantly surprised at the varied selections
and reasonable prices.

Besides bringing affordable, appropriate books to our school, one of the goals of the Book Fair is to increase classroom libraries. Each teacher will have a Classroom Wish List, which allows you to donate books to your child’s classroom in your family or your child’s name. Be sure to look for the Teacher Wish List table display when you arrive.

Again, we invite you to come and visit our Book Fair. Your children will be glad you did – and so will you!

Sincerely,

Kim Billings, Book Fair Chairperson
Joy Steed, Book Fair Co-Chair

P.S. For your convenience, our Book Fair will accept cash, checks made payable to The Donoho School, or credit cards.
