Concern for Others Day Food Collections Reach Milestone!

A big THANK YOU goes out to everyone in the Donoho family that helps support the All Saints Interfaith Center of Concern with donations to our Concern for Others Day food collections. With the special holiday collection done on Tuesday, December 13, 2011 we have achieved a major milestone. We have collected and donated over 20,000 food items to the Center of Concern since we started the program in January of 2007. THANK YOU! THANK YOU!

The Donoho School started its Concern for Other Day program with its first non-perishable food collection on January 11, 2007. The program was started in an effort to help the All Saints Interfaith Center of Concern keeps its food pantry stocked.

The Donoho School has been conducting at least one collection per month during each school year ever since.

All students at the school (lower, middle and upper) are allowed a casual dress day on the first Thursday of each month when they donate at least two nonperishable food items.

The program has enjoyed great success and participation since its beginning. The students learn the value of helping others and the community benefits too.
