Congratulations to our Scholar-Athlete of the Week, Payne Golden. Payne is a junior with a 4.0 GPA and plays football and baseball. He considers his greatest academic achievement to be scoring a 31 on the ACT in the 10th grade. His favorite subject is History because he enjoys the challenge of Mr. Ford’s tests. Payne thanks Coach Sanders for teaching him the game of football and for pushing him to be the best player, student, and person that he can be. He plans to attend Auburn University and enter the engineering field. Payne serves his community by volunteering with the Annual Logan Martin Lake Clean-Up. Congratulations, Payne.
