Congratulations to our Scholar-Athlete of the Week, Leyden Orth. Leyden is a junior with a 4.1 GPA and plans to attend the University of Alabama and major in pre-med. She considers her greatest academic achievement to be maintaining her GPA while starting on the varsity volleyball team, and her greatest athletic achievement to be making it to State in her first year on the team. Leyden’s favorite class is Mr. Ford’s history class, and her mother has the greatest impact on her life by encouraging and motivating her daily. Leyden volunteers with the DD Club, her church’s Vacation Bible School, and serves at the annual Kiwanis Pancake Breakfast. Congratulations, Leyden!
