Congratulations to our Scholar-Athlete of the Week, Edwin Connell. Edwin is a junior with a 4.0 GPA and plays football, basketball, and baseball. He considers his greatest academic achievement to be keeping an A average in all of his classes while playing sports year round. Edwin’s favorite subject has been physiology because Mrs. Taylor made the class interesting and fun. Coach Graham has been influential in Edwin’s life because he constantly stresses the importance that grades come before sports, and he has been an excellent coach to him in both football and basketball. Edwin serves his community through his local church and enjoys volunteering with Vacation Bible School and serving on mission trips. Congratulations, Edwin!
