CONGRATULATIONS!
The varsity volleyball team has qualified for the AHSAA Elite Eight State Tournament Wednesday and Thursday, October 31 and November 1. Donoho’s first match will be at 9:00 A.M. Wednesday morning at the Birmingham Crossplex (2331 Bessemer Road, Birmingham). If we win at 9:00 A.M., we play again at 5:00 P.M Wednesday evening. The IA Finals are scheduled for 9:00 A.M Thursday morning. Admission is $10 for the day and parking is additional.
*** Students who attend the tournament must bring back the form (see link below) signed by a parent to one of the offices by 3:30 P.M.Tuesday afternoon and a phone call must be received by Wednesday morning; students must check in with Coach Felder or an administrator at the tournament no later than the end of the first game of the match to be considered excused from class Wednesday morning (approximately 9:30 A.M.).
If we win both matches Wednesday, and students choose to attend the 1A finals. (The student must check in with an administrator or Coach Felder, and a parent must make the phone call to the school each day.)
Students are not allowed to ride with other students when leaving school grounds.
