Congratulations to Nisha Kashyap ’11 who received the Phillip C. Jackson award at Birmingham-Southern College for starting and running a business in three weeks, which earned over $2200 in profits, the highest among her competitors. Her business concept “Decade Dash” was a themed 5K run held on campus attended by over 150 participants.
Through integration of her two passions, Marketing and Fine Arts, Nisha also established a new position for Birmingham-Southern College’s theatre department, Publicity Manager. This year, she was honored for her work as the Publicity Manager for their productions of Carrie and Four by Tenn.
