Host Families Needed for 2015-2016 School Year

The Donoho School has partnered with gphomestay! Gphomestay is an educational service company that provides quality homestays for international students who attend American high schools.

We have several international students attending The Donoho School, and we are planning to expand the program. For this reason, we are searching for caring families to open their homes to an international student. Our students enjoy getting involved and learning more about American culture. This is also a great opportunity for your family to learn more about a different culture and way of life.

Host families receive a monthly stipend of $800 to cover any costs that arise with having an extra person in your home. Host families also have access to ongoing support from a local Residential Coordinator. Gphomestay also offers a $300 referral fee to anyone who refers a host family that is approved.

The hosting process is for one school year with the option to host the same student again the following year. The students typically study in the United States with the intention of graduating from an American high school.
