Final Facts from the 2015 Elementary Science Olympiad

​The Elementary Science Olympiad (ESO) recently shared final facts about the 2015 competition on their website. The Donoho School wants to congratulate Mrs. Donna Plunkett and the following students for their individual accomplishments:

  • Amarachi Nwogu was awarded four medals. She was 1 of 3 participants who received two gold medals.
  • Isabella Nelson, Chloe Phillips, Ash Reddy and Carter Stremmel were each awarded three medals. They were 4 out of 18 participations who received three medals.

The Donoho School has been a part of the Elementary Science Olympiad since 1994, with just four schools competing, to now hosting over thirty teams from across the state of Alabama each year. This competition provides over 600 students the opportunity to engage in hands-on learning in the area of science.Mrs. Donna Plunkett has coached Donoho’s teams for the past twenty-two years.
