Congratulations to the Donoho Falcons Indoor Track and Field team on a fantastic day at State!
“Estella Connell took home the girls’ Class 1A-3A long jump title with a posted mark of 15-02.75 to lead the Falcons’ girls to a sixth-place finish at the indoor track meet on Friday.
Connell also picked up second-place honors in the high jump (4-08.00) and third-place honors in the girls triple jump (33-07.50) as the Falcons’ girls totaled 34 points.
Donoho’s Estella Connell took home first place in the girls Class 1A-3A long jump, second place in the high jump and third place in the triple jump at the AHSAA state indoor track and field meet.
Zainatu Sesay finished fourth in the girls 60-meter for the Falcons.
Hunter Hartwell and Riley Goodson each broke the Donoho school record in the boys 1600-meter, with Hartwell owning the record with a sixth-place finish of 4:45.24. Goodson finished ninth with a time of 5:00.09.
Rory Parks mounted a sixth-place finish in the girls pole vault and a seventh-place finish in the girls 60-meter hurdles.” – Anniston Star https://bit.ly/483RPJ9
