CONGRATULATIONS!
The varsity volleyball team has qualified for the AHSAA Elite Eight State Tournament this Wednesday and Thursday, October 30 and 31.
The first match will be at 3:00 P.M. Wednesday afternoon at the Birmingham Crossplex (2331 Bessemer Road, Birmingham). If we win at 3:00, we play again at 7:00 P.M Wednesday evening.
The 1A Finals are scheduled for 4:30 P.M. Thursday afternoon. Admission is $10 for the day and parking is additional.
*** Students who attend the tournament must bring back the form (see link below) signed by a parent to one of the offices by 3:30 P.M. Tuesday afternoon and a phone call from a parent must be received Wednesday morning and Thursday morning before 10: 30 A.M. if attending. Students may checkout after 4th period each day and must check in with Coach Felder, Mrs. Gaines, or Ms. Hester at the tournament no later 2:45 Wednesday and 4:15 Thursday to be considered excused from class.
In order for a student to check out each day, a parent must make a phone call to the school each day in addtion to the student returning the signed form.
Students are not allowed to ride with other students when leaving school grounds.
