The Donoho School just returned from the Walter Trumbauer State Theatre Festival on the campus of the University of North Alabama in Florence, Alabama. Our school’s One Act was chosen to perform at the competition as in the top 17 One Acts from across the State. From our One Act, one student was selected as a member of the top 20 students in the State in the All-Star Cast – Meghana Giri.
Each Individual Event category was comprised of the top 51 students in the state. Our students who competed in Individual Events all received Excellent and Superior Ratings at State.
Additional awards earned:
Meghana Giri- Second Place in Female Comedic Solo Novice
Mahaley Tucker and James Gavino- First Place in Duet Comedic Novice
Haley Holmes- First Place in Female Classical Acting Novice and First Place in Female Solo Dramatic Novice
