Spanish Students Welcome Students from JSU International House

Students in Mrs. Taylor’s Spanish I and II classes welcomed a group of Spanish speaking students from JSU on Wednesday, April 18, to Donoho. These students represent the countries of El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras and Mexico as current students in the International House program at the university. The idea of the visit was to expose our students to the different cultural accents and terminology from Spanish speaking countries and to allow them to ask questions in both Spanish and English on topics that included family, food, sports and other activities in their native countries. The classes were fully engaged during the visit and were able to put into practice their conversational skills learned this year. Thank you to Dr. Jay Ketterer and the JSU International House students for facilitating this visit to our campus!
