Mrs. Plunkett and the lower school science department recently received a grant to purchase materials to build MicroAquariums. The students started with acrylic photo frames, cutting off the excess frame and hot glueing the sides together. They added various aquatic invertebrates to their aquariums by digging through pond scum. The students have added planaria, daphnia (water fleas), aquatic worms, and insect larvae.
