ALUMNI SPOTLIGHT (Below is the full Q&A for Bryant from the 2021 SOAR Magazine Campus Greetings section.)Bryant is majoring in Computer Science and Neuroscience on the Personalized Honors Pathway at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) with a tentative graduation date of Spring 2023. Bryant was the recipient of the Presidential Scholarship and is in the prestigious Early Medical School Acceptance Program (EMSAP) at UAB. Favorite class: My favorite classes so far have been honors organic chemistry I and II. I thought learning to visualize the different reactions and how chemicals that I come into contact with every day react was really interesting. Recent school involvement: I have enjoyed working as a resident assistant (RA) because it has allowed me to meet a lot of cool people that I wouldn’t have met otherwise.Advice: Learn how to manage stress effectively and how to balance your involvement in high school so it doesn’t become overwhelming in college.Future Plans: I will be attending the UAB School of Medicine through the Early Medical School Acceptance Program in the fall of 2023.Keep up the great work, Bryant.
