Rising senior Ryan Crawford attended the 87th American Legion Alabama Boys State at Troy University. Male students across Alabama are chosen to attend based on their leadership, hard work, strong morals, and motivation in school and community activities. Upon arrival, the students are divided into ten cities where they appoint a city government. The position of mayor is one of the most respected roles at Alabama Boys State, and Ryan was elected to be the mayor of the city of Harper. He was responsible for ensuring the city’s well-being and overseeing its daily operations. We are so proud of Ryan, and you have our vote!
