Head of School Blog: Reflections and Hopes for a New Year!

As the second semester begins, I wanted to take a moment to reflect on the first half of the year and share my thoughts. I want to start by recognizing how wonderful our new faculty members have been in making Donoho better. Their dedication to our mission and our students has been outstanding, and we are a better school because of their commitment and effort. Along the same lines, we have been blessed with many terrific new students who have shared their talents with us all in many different ways. They, too, have strengthened our school.

Congratulations to our Donoho Falcons on an outstanding Football season and to our Falcons for making the Class 1A, Region 5 Region Team. Also, congratulations to Coach Jeremy Satcher for being named Assistant Coach of the Year.

DAC Theatre Students Place 1st and 2nd in State Theatre Competition

Donoho Arts Collaborative Theatre students competed in the ACT Walter Trumbauer State Theatre Festival at Troy University in Troy, Alabama on November 31 and December 1. 97 school competed and there were over 1376 individual events. Donoho’s students shined bright and took home some very impressive awards.
