The Donoho School would like to express our deepest thanks to Mr. John Kittle, class of 1981, for his generous contribution to the school in memory of Mrs. Alice Needham Heard who passed away on January 4, 2012. Mrs. Heard was the mother of Bud Heard (’75), Brent Heard (’81) and Kyle Heard. Mrs. Heard taught school for 42 years and had a profound influence on the students she taught. She was extremely civic-minded and always emphasized to her students the need to be involved in the community and to be the best citizen possible. She loved The Donoho School, the teachers, the sports teams and all of the opportunities the school provided to her sons. Thank you, John, for your contribution that will directly impact the lives of our students!
